General Shipping Details
Options and Schedules
- UPS Second Day Air: Delivers directly to your doorstep; available for dispatch Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only.
- UPS Second Day Ground: Delivers directly to your doorstep; available for dispatch Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday only.
Video Requirement
- Acknowledgement Required: All customers must watch a mandatory care blog post provided below to understand the proper care and maintenance of blackworms. This is essential to ensure the wellbeing of the live products shipped to you.
Live Blackworm Arrival Guarantee
- Condition for Guarantee: Upon receiving your order of live blackworms, it is crucial to check their condition within one hour of the delivery time stated by the carrier.
- Reporting Procedure for Blackworms: If you find that more than 25% of the blackworms are dead, you must immediately email us at aquagemsdiscus@gmail.com with a video and two pictures showing the label and the condition of the blackworms. Also, you are required to call us at 727-458-8714 to report the issue.
- Late Claims: Any claims reported after the one-hour window will not be accepted, regardless of the circumstances.
Claim Review and Compensation Options
- Review Process: We will review your claim thoroughly and on a case-by-case basis.
- Compensation: If your claim is validated, you may choose to either have the losses added to your next order at no extra cost or receive a refund for the lost blackworms excluding any shipping charges.
Shipping and Temperature Guidelines
- Temperature Check: Before placing an order, you must verify the local temperature for your expected delivery date. If the temperature exceeds 85 degrees Fahrenheit, the live arrival guarantee becomes void.
- Shared Risk Acknowledgment: Shipping live animals involves inherent risks, which are shared between Aquagems and the customer.

- Risk of Consumption: By ordering from Aquagems, you agree to assume all risks associated with feeding live blackworms to any aquatic or other animals.
- Indemnity: The buyer agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Aquagems from any claims, losses, or damages arising from the use of our products.
No Shipping Costs Refunded
