Transit Care

Packages are meticulously prepared to ensure your discus arrive in optimal condition. We triple-bag each order using aged water and opaque black liners, infuse the bags with pure oxygen, and secure them in insulated Styrofoam containers with heat packs, maintaining a near-constant temperature of 80° Fahrenheit.

Handling Delays

  • UPS: Typically delivers by noon the next day after dispatch. Note, occasional delays may occur due to logistical issues, extending delivery by no more than one day.

Financial Information

Costs

  • Customers cover all shipping and handling expenses. Costs vary by destination, order size, and weight, and are pre-calculated in your Shopping Cart or quoted upon order placement.

Minimum Order Requirement

  • A minimum spend of $100 is required for all shipped orders.

Purchase Policies

Live Arrival Guarantee

  • Guaranteed live arrival via UPS. If the discus do not survive the transit, we offer a replacement, a full refund, or store credit if no replacements are available.

Order Finalization

  • All sales are final once the discus are received in good condition. Aquagems does not accept returns and is not responsible for the livestock once delivered.

Cancellation and Holding

  • Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled with a 15% restocking fee deducted from your refund. Full in-store credit is also an option.
  • Holding: Orders can be held for no extra charge for up to two weeks after being ready to ship. Beyond this, a 15% surcharge applies.

Special Considerations

  • DOA Policy: Options include reimbursement, replacement, or store credit. Shipping cost reimbursements are prorated based on the number of discus affected.
  • Special and Pre-Orders: Incurs a 25% stocking fee if cancelled.
